I’m happy to announce that my short story While She Remains has been included in the just-released anthology titled Relics.  It is a compilation of fourteen stories ranging from fantasy to history to science fiction.  My tale leans more toward fantasy and here’s a teaser…

The cataclysm is no memory as great walls of ice creep down from the mountains driving a young woman named Niriam’s tribe to the brink of extinction.  But in the midst of disaster, Niriam encounters memories of a world without ice and ruin, a world that once had a future and the possibility hers may as well.  Such a promise might be achievable, even in the midst of unbearable loss, but only if she has the courage to claim it, not just for herself, but for her people.

If this sounds interesting, check it out!  Relics brings together fourteen authors across a swath of compelling genres.  You might just discover someone new whose work you’d like to follow.
