I apologize for several years of silence on this blog. The purpose was to ensure my primary focus was on completing my next series of books and the months of quiet lasted longer than intended.
Today, I’m excited to announce several big change as I return to creating this kind of content.
“Tears from Iron” is now available as an Audiobook
More and more people are enjoying listening to books and I wanted to provide my novel in that medium. You can find it on Amazon here.
I have moved my Newsletter to Substack
I’ll post all future articles there. You can find the Substack link at the bottom of these web pages or follow it here. Everyone who subscribes to my Substack will receive a complementary copy of “A Treatise on Creation and the Lost Age“, a recounting of the events that transpired prior to the Cataclysm in which “Tears from Iron” is set.” The second bonus of Substack is that you’ll get periodic insider updates on the progress of the “Memories of the Cataclysm” series.
The Substack will follow similar themes to this newsletter, exploring news and discussion on tales set in the World of Isfalinis along with commentary on the art of fantasy storytelling.
I am now also on YouTube
YouTube will have similar video articles to SubStack where we discuss writing, fantasy, and Isfalinis. I’ve already posted a Jonathonian classic commentary on “Combat is Boring”, both as a single long video and broken into several instructive shorts. Soon I’ll be adding videos on wrestling with Writer’s Block and the roles of Monsters, Humanoids, and Humans in stories. My YouTube channel is also at the bottom of each of these pages and you can find it here.
ACKS to Grind
Speaking of YouTube, this evening I was a guest on my publisher’s livestream, “ACKS to Grind” where we discussed “Tears from Iron”, the evolution fantasy literature, and many other topics including some behind-the-scenes looks into the World of Isfalinis. Check it out here.
